I am a nonfiction writer and a Senior Lecturer in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University where I am a member of the non/fictionLab research group.
My work is interested in the politics of value and taste, power, interpretation, subjectivity, and resistance. I bring to my writing and thinking an attentiveness to critical theory, psychoanalytic theory, aesthetics and form. I am also committed to experimental and collective writing and art making practices.
I live on unceded Boon Wurrung / Bunurong Country. I offer my respects to their Elders, land management and continuing culture, as well as to the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters across Australia. The effects of colonisation are ongoing.
